I also feel it goes both ways, people with this mentality think its fine to drive like shit because if they hit someone there insurance will pay for it, they dont care that it puts people out of work (like me) until they can get another car, not to mention damaging something they have worked hard on (in my fiances case).

YOU SHOULD ALWAYS BE SUPER CAREFUL WHEN DRIVING.

I'm curious to know why you would have a turbo timer on a non turbo car???

mate that is bs! what happens if you have to swerve to avoid somthing, oil on the road so many situations you cant avoid and if you hit a 200k car then I guess you will be paying it off for quite some time. Especially if the car is owned by somone who has just got there licence!!!

I've been off my P's for years now and I already said that Jem will have insurance. I just get pissed when people think they can drive retarded just because they are insured. Anyway this topic isnt about having or not having insurance pros and cons its about what to do in this specific case, the legalities, etc.

As you have the car in your possession I'd strip it of anything that's not stock & let them fight you if they want to waste their money on lawyers...call their bluff & see what happens, there are plenty of stock GX parts out there. Good luck.

Im more scared of people that dont have insurance.

With the matter at hand, i would do as someone suggested and attempt to return to stock what i could and let it fight out. Good luck.
