Dunno if you have mentioned it, but what ECU will be controlling this?

And if something fails, how will the ECU compensate correctly for this?

He can't be that retarded to get it tuned to rely on water injection running all the time.

John, a autronic is in the pipeline.
If something fails, it immediately opens the wastegate basically = no boost. Thats one.

Oh and this will be running full time. Water & methanol.
users running this kit on a 4L tank go thru it in under 2 months depending on use if course. in my case, i drive it on w/e only. thats just use.

the aquamist is totally safe to use full time. And i havnt read of 1 major failure yet.

Ok autronics is good. Just didn't want you to go down this path wanting to have it installed then a tuner saying its not possible.

It would be very interesting to see what gains are possible. If you can, get the car tuned without meth, then with meth to see if there are any worthwhile gains to share.

i use a water/methanol in my last RS to good effect, plenty of torque, intake manifold was always cold, reduce det.... the down side is that methanol is very corrosive, can use metho instead, the system never failed once, it was very crude as operated via boost only.............

john, look on nasioc theres heaps of b4 and afters.
there is a gain, and a good one at that. ur squirting alcohol into the motor!
obviously, it comes down to the tuning in the end, as with all things.

Ok so how did it increase Tq? Magic Meth fairys?

NO it's in the tune.

My problem with water injection is it's another thing in the series that can fail when your setup to rely on it.

I like the idea of running it as added security but don't agree with having it tuned to suit running it all the time. You might as well run Nitrous.

But hey if it's just for cruising around putting fuck all load through the car then it won't matter if something falls out of peak operating peramaters.
