Prochip is very similar to Unichip. I have one that I use as a doorstop, as it really is not much else use. It was in my buzzbox when I bought it, but was a never ending hassle. Piggy back system, but if I remember rightly I also needed a fuel cut defender as it still wouldn't allow anything over 16 or so psi. That and more often then not the engine light would flash, you would have to pull over, switch the car off and then restart or you'd face boost cut every time you'd ramp up. Absolute piece of shit if ever I've known one.

i thought the prochip was engine management for the fuel air mix, cooling etc....if its that bad thats probably why the dealer removed it and said he would void the warranty if i used it lol

Seen this car heaps, it was a private sale to begin with on the side of the road just off Read St Rocky.
Wouldn't touch anything in his yard, all well over priced and he has had it since Oct.

Oh ok I must have missed it on Read St but I would agree his cars are perhaps over priced. He wants $23000 for a 99 Sti, in above average condition (not perfect. Dad thinks the previous owner had kids in there). Is $23000 to much? He'll prbably have it up on cars guide soon as he just got it....if you want i can put a link up when he puts it on sale.

You can have a look at my STI look-a-like 99 GC8 WRX with a few mods, white sedan, 168,000kms on chassis, 105,000 on motor..... ask for more details if interested. Chasing $17,000 ono

Just like V3 RA said, wait until the right vehicle comes along, this could be it LOL
