i am 100% certain version I RA came without, for version II, especially late 96 as this car, unsure. the v-limited on the version II capped at 500 cars and only in the repsol/555 blue of the time and naturally would feature the aircon but with power options. afaik the only difference between the 94 & 96 car believe it or not was the polished chrome exhaust tips of the version II so aircon must of been a possible factory option?

aspen white typeRA with manual window wipers is the real deal for the purist!

as for the car dealer, roy mcolroy. hes not a bad guy, just need to know how to deal with the man, catch him in a thin line between truth and bullshit and you will be okay. he has quite an extensive subaru collection including a genuine RS R legacy and a few others, been around the subaru scene for many years so he knows his stuff, well least claim he does. the car in question, looks okay from the photo's, i don't see the whole aps kit thing being a concern though.

so many great cars out there without having to resort to a caryards and caryard taxes, keep an eye out, here and elsewhere and you may just find what your really looking for!

Tyres are the most important and affordable performance item you can get for your car.

If you buy, use those sunny tires for burnouts and upgrade to something better.

yea they would be good for on the gravel, but id want to knock the price down and get new rims...if i did get the guy which i doubt i will b i would have an extra 5k or so to play with.. yea doing donuts on the gravel sounds like a good idea for those ris and rubber...and yes 'roy' does have an extensive range of subarus which i think look ok to me, maybe a little over priced imo. he does seem like a good guy to me and seems to know his stuff, but he did tell me that the 98 wrx has 168kW, when im sure i read that they where 160kW. what kind of power do u think the wrx in his yard would be putting out? its got the 'prochip', water injected intercooler, 3" tbe stock turbo. i think its been boosted a little and raced. not that im buying it, just curious

Sounds like your dead set on this one and everything people have
said has fallen on deaf ears!

Wait for a better deal on a ne'er car with upgarded parts, I don't know
how many times people have to say it.

MY98 is 155kw just for the record.

APS kit exactly like the one running on the vehicle in question, which includes a prochip, tmic, exhaust, water sprayer, and cai. 140awkw...ish... If I remember correctly, as that's what I had on my buzzbox when I bought it.

Haha nar im not dead set i wanted the 01-02 bug, i was just curious bout the power atw n yea i knew he was havn me on when he said 168kW!

if i do get this shape though id go for the 99-00. Someone suggested to me the xr6t. But i dont think they are all that safe, especially for what i want to do, which is going around alot of corners
