Such a pity mate, was an awesome looking car!, any chance of stripping/
replacing some goodies off of it or has the insurance co taken possesion?

Well I'm oversea's atm with the Defence, otherwise, I would be all over it like a fat kid on a smarty. If anyone wants to go and rob the panel shop for me that would be great The car will be really missed as the only reason I was selling was because I was looking at a different style car, so HOPEFULLY this other car turns out. Other wise I'll be on the look out for a similar STI.

3 rims were pretty smashed up unfortunately. The only parts I would take out are the Teins, PW TMIC and APS Intake.

I'm not sure where people get the idea that his insurance would pay for it as he was driving my car not his when it happened.

Agreed but it should reflect his record and not yours. Also he should be paying the excess.

Report the accident to the police as the driver was reckless in any effect. This will weigh heavily if you come under fire from insurance or 3rd party claims.

Feel sorry for you, but that result is not from taking it easy.

yeah i agree
surely there can't be that much damage from having a casual cruise, it's almost impossible.

i'd be asking my 'mate' the exact details, and how exactly the driver managed to write off your 25k+ sti on a test drive.

Thanks mate, really pissed me off. I was stoked the day I picked it up from you. Notice how I didn't write it off on my test drive?

It won't reflect on my record as I was not the at fault driver. Who ever he gets to insure his car next with he has to mention he wrote off a car.

That was the first thing my mate did was call the cops so its all noted down. I tend to agree with you that it wasn't been driven easy, however, not been witness to the accident I can't comment. The only thing is that my mate said it didn't seem like they were going that fast, but he didn't have eyes on the speedo when it all went down.

If the cruiser doesn't work out does anyone know anything about this:
