thanks guys for all your info, there s definately a lot of good info in this thread thank to all who have posted "JDM STLYE" if they give me a buy back opition and i don't go for it, i will certainly let you know as i would love to see this car back on the road. i guess for now all i can do is wait for the insurance to tell me whats going on

i had to claim insurance and it took 2 months, ring them every couple of days or you will get nowhere slowly

just an update guys, i rang my insurance today to ask whats going on, they said they just got a quote from gosnells smash repair and the quote exceeded the cars value ( or something simillar ) they didn't tell me what it was. So now their waiting on a second opinion from another assesor just to confirm, doesn't sound good

MY CARS GETTING FIXED , they just rang me and said providing they don't uncover any hidden/unexpected damage it will be repaired, its going to carline smash repairs, i think thats what it's called

congrats! have they told you when you can have it back?

cheers! no they haven't told me, they said to ring the pannel beaters myself on monday, oh by the way, it's carlise smash repairs not carline lol

There'd be a few weeks work there 'dependant on ability to source parts and current WIP in the shop', congrats on approval for repairs, here's hoping they find any deep-seated mechanical issues 'if any', after they have completed repairs, that way there's no point not repairing them

If you're looking for someone whom will scrutinise the work upon completion hit me up, as a beer and a handshake would be all it would cost
