Nothing wrong with those twin scroll ebay turbos they are the same as gt pumps sells, the problem is the exhaust housing is too big 10cm2, gtps02t dyno sheet was not impressive either and that was on a 2.5, there is a thread on rexnet under gtpumps. I had a conversation with mark from gt pumps on the phone and he said they are designed for track work and high boost applications and on the road the transition to boost is very smooth. Better off sticking with p25 exhaust housing or pe1825 turbo, cant beat ball bearing turbos for spool or off on boost transition

How did this go on your vehicle, the VF36 with the 20g wheel.

cheers

Its going on next week, i have a vf34 with a 20g wheel in it, Gonads old one from Rexnet, was waiting to get a vf 36 turbine housing from MSR be he got upset because i told him it was only worth $250, at the moment i have the vf37 of my 06 wrx i am very impressed, torque every where and super quick spool but its over after 6000, compressor to small, i will take the turbo to precision turbos here in sydney 9756 5757 and get vf37 p25 turbine housing machined to fit vf34 20g core into it, cost about $100. I had the vf34 20g with a p20 housing on the car when it was not twin scroll, had 18 psi 3200 all the way to 7000, no lag and excellent part throttle boost response, but p20 exhaust housing was to small was starting to over boost at high rpm. I also had a td05h 20g 8 cm same as gtpos02 on the car but it was useless very laggy. I was thinking about the kingugawa option as i have a tdo5h just need to buy the 10cm twin scroll turbine housing, but there is a good chance i will loose too much torque in the midrange and spool will be slower, gtps02t makes it peak torque at 4200 seems to high to me, as you know a few cars have been done and the results dont look good for a street car maybe ok on the track, but if you have a 2 litre motor stick to vf36 or vf42 if you can get one

Got my Kando TD05 20g Twin Scroll yesterday $798 delivered, turns out it does not have a 10 cm turbine housing but is a copy of a VF36 P25 Turbine housing as it has 5HB cast on it, I emailed Kando and he confirmed they copied the vf36 turbine housing and machined it to fit TD05 20g or TD06SL2 20g CHRA's, also only had .8 bar wategate actuator rather than 1.2 as advertised but other than that excellent quality all over, have used a few of their units before never had an issue with them.

Was a straight fit to my 06 2.5 wrx which i previously had a VF37 on with kinugawa headers and dump pipe, the Kando 20g turbo spools faster than the vf37 making 1.25 bar boost at 3200 in 3 gear / 5 speed and holds all the way to 7000, maximun torque is around 3700, absolutely no lag anywhere just put your foot down and it takes off, feels just like a vf37 but with top end of 20g

^^So why was it such a dud on my vehicle, okay it may be laggier down low but it never overtakes the VF36 like a 20g should??

Your right should be better up top like a 20g, maybe its because its a 2 litre motor which is probably better suited to the vf36
