Betty did indeed do very well at Mt Alma
Finished fastest Subaru, 9th outright, and reset the outright Subaru fastest time there in the process up against some big power caged rally cars (photos coming soon).

The GTR had a pretty decent whack though, but thats motor racing, and if you cant afford to bend it, definitely dont take it to the track. The new GTR is in the making now....better....faster....you know the biz

Overall Willall Racing put 7 cars in the top 9 places, so we did pretty well out of the weekend

Great work Martin! BTW I love reading your articles in tuner mags etc.

What tyres do you run?

So these come on straight away? ( assuming yes due to hillclimb ).

Have you tried the AO50s?

These are good hillclimb tyres providing you smoke them hard in the tyre warmup area - ie. 6500rpm full tilt limiter smashing for 50m. Then good to go!

I have tried A050 - but not on this car. They are ok

At half the price of A050s, and quicker lap/hillclimb times I will stick to the Z214s. Each to their own.

P.S. You need to punch that car off the launch limiter now and then its fun. I had to do it around 14 times over the weekend, so thank god for OS Twin Plate clutches

Had a check of the price on tirerack and was nicely suprised, also keen for launches. Bit iffy about the wet though? I understand that standing water is going to cause dramas for any rcomp but these look worse?
Maybe time for another set of rims?..

Lol Dave, my new one seems the goods!

Nice efforts with the results Martin.
