'Injectors were reaching 92%'

I dont think advertising stock injectors is a real good point. Not many people would run IDC over 90% for long.

But yeah with that turbo on a EJ207 it should get the same figure.

but power is nothing without torque. and the EJ257 has plenty of that. may not rev but meh.

maybe somthing inbetween would be ideal. say a 2.2L

Yeah good in theory.

There is just something about a factory motor that help with confidence.

You can get an uneasy feeling with workshop 'built' motors.

this day in age yeah. but u have done a considerable amount of Kms and am not running crazy amounts of boost.

im happy i left mine unopened but wouldnt have hurt to do the pistons at least. hypercrappies. do u still lose the magic if u just do the pistons?

Nah my motor isn't going to let go in a hurry. I think you lose the magic putting in pistons. Clearances etc.
