2500 RPM @ 100 in 5th here also

Close to 3k at 100kp/h, but ive never thought to look at what it exactly its!

MY00 WRX 2500rpm at 100km/h in 5th gear

Digging up and old thread.

My 06 STi in 6th gear does the same RPM at 100km/h.

What I'd like to know is what the newer GR and GV STi's RPMS' sit at doing 100km/h while in 6th gear ?

That must be the long ratio box.

I'm at about 2900 or so in my 6 speed, which is a JDM spec c box.

0.842 6th with the 3.9 final drive.

4cyl cars are always going to rev more at cruising gears. Its just the way it is.

The other thing specific to subarus (6spds) is if the engine is a 2L or a 2.5L. The gearboxs are matched to engine size. This is why the JDM ones (2.0L) are more revvy than the AUDM (2.5L) boxs.
