Dammnit, too late.

If youw ere looking at a ford you need to be aware they have just released the MKII which has an 8" touch screen as standard, facelift, navigation as standard and REDUCED the price by about 4k.

Would be worth holding out for one of those. Though the sales pitch is that the previous models had a massive margin built in so people could negotiate the price down considerably to feel like they got a bargain. The new pricing is meant to reflect the actual cost the majority of people actually paid.

My choice would have been the F6 if your heart wasn't set on a V8 rumble.Nice and large for all your family needs. Tonnes of grunt and torque eith a lot of potential for more.

seems like it didn't work out well though. People would look at the RRP and walk over to holden instead which 'appeared' better bang for your buck.

and here it is...

2009 HSV Grange. 6.2L V8. 2yrs old and only 3000km Got a good price too.

No it doesn't handle like the STi or go like the STi (although its not exactly a slouch), but damn what a nice cruiser! Perfect for the family.

And never fear my fellow Rex/Evo tragics, a replacement for my STi is also on the horizon for those track days

Cheers
Dom
