OT: looking forward to seeing some results!!
This what RaceTorque told me as well regarding the CAI a few weeks ago. They (RT) had one left which Lane reccomended, so me with my iron will...went and bought it.

In regards to the OP, what an awesome turbo combo.

I had heard that HF decided to focus on industrial and mining markets for their products

Oh well, how does the AVO TMIC compare to the PW.

If at all possible I want to avoid going Front Mount!

I was looking at the same thing once but steered away and went for a FMIC.

Came across this site as a comparison with other brand TMIC's.

PW seems like a good upgrade over other makes. Hope this answers it.

Well as I thought the PW TMIC is at it's limit as is, only made approx 10hp more and a bit more torque at the wheels.

In Sean's words the PW just holds too much heat, and being a bigger turbo it heats up quickly, but it makes the power noticeably earlier in the rev range and is a different car to drive now!!

I could get over 350hp at the wheels with a FMIC, but I am not going to go down this road, the car has a safe tune and has not had it's neck wringed to get the result it got today.

Sean said a later Sti top mount would perform better, so I may consider this.
