HS aren't available anymore, the TT's are the replacement for these. I hardly sell any of these anymore, partly due to stock issues, but also because a set of HR's with lighter springs are a better unit and comparable in comfort.

1kg lighter springs than standard front and rear make a really good street setup for those wanting slightly more comfort, but in my opinion, the stock spring rates are a perfect balance between performance and not rattling your fillings out.. not too stiff and not too soft. You can't expect ANY coilover to have a ride or NVH like a set of springs and struts, even a set of lowered ones.

I find that hard to believe... coilovers are designed to be less compliant than a set of springs.

In most coilovers, you've got a huge shock piston... to match the damping power of those, the springs have to be very heavy duty.

Try TiC SST, KW V3, KW V1 (only height adjustable), RCE T2 (modified KW V3) or RCE T0 (modified KW V1).

These are all not cheap.

HSD.

Gav, we can supply some softer springs if that suits.

Yeah I'm being serious. I had a set of lowered King springs (I think) in mys STI, before changing over to coilovers. I noticed hardly any difference in the difference in overall ride. They may be slightly stiffer, but its not like there is a huge difference. I guess its like the difference between a set of standard springs & a set of lowered springs?

I guess my statement is the opposite to what other people say, but there is no way the ride is uncomfortable. Might be just me though.

lol King Springs.... there was your problem

and YOU don't find the ride uncomfortable because you're used to it, and you understand a harsh ride means better handling. For Joe blow who doesn't care about cars, it would make a huge difference. All you see is the 'handling upgrade'

Going from WRX shocks with king super lows to HSD HR's was *significantly* stiffer for me, even on their softest setting.
