Your torque is 1000rpm too late. Talk to ASG to see if they can diagnose why this is the case. Something is a limiting factor. Could be simple like mac/3port.

I'm guessing the 'hybrid' turbo is a VF34 with a P20 housing. Should make a lot more power that it is.

Here's one of my old graphs MY05 WRX, STi TMIC, VF34, Panel filter, 3-port, Decapped Injectors (816cc), Under $10 BOV mod, Xforce TBE, probably around 1.8bar boost (might be more, been a while)

I'll be laughing if I can make those figures!

Cheers for all the advice Kato, and yes the vf34p20 sounds spot on (I didn't want to talk out of turn in case I was wrong) - Spikey did say it would be more than enough to make good power ....now to actually get that power

I am currently running 20 odd psi in my unopened 205 bug motor with abit over 150000km with a vf34p20 and currently sitting at 270hp, so i would think you can make the number as Kato said something is missing

As I see it, the cheapest/most efective mods for you at the moment for your goals are:

Better BCS - Mac or Grimspeed.
Replace up-pipe (if it's catted).
Buy a stonger actuator/do Tuna special actuator mod.
Only MY01 and MY02 WRX had the cat in the up-pipe from memory.
Bringing boost on earlier with better boost control (mac valve BCS etc) and/or an upgraded actuator makes a huge difference

Then a mac valve, bcs and actuator I must get. As mentioned response is important to me but I'd love to unlock another 20-30kw too. Car goes to ASG on mon so I'll have an idea of what to do then....then another 3 week wait for a retune

The MAC Valve is a BCS. MAC being the brand, BCS being a boost control solenoid
Companies like Grimmspeed just rebadge a MAC valve but even though they tend to cost a bit more have a more OEM look to them.

Haha cheers Jester, as you can tell I'm well educated on such matters

Definitely Owen, sounds like my car is probably tuned to around 18psi I'll ask Sean to (as Kato put it) push it but don't destroy it perhaps 20-21psi will do the trick.

I'll definitely be providing updates when this all gets sorted

Yeah, jester is pretty spot on. However, some companies do in fact just rebadge a MAC...we did not. We worked directly with MAC to make a proprietary valve just for you guys. Add in the OEM wiring harness plugs, low-profile hose fittings, and oem bracket and you have one hell of a nice little package

Trawling the forums for Grimmspeed related topics ? :P

The OEM look and feel of the GS BCS with brackets and plug > Wiring a MAC in.
