Kato was running more than 2bar on his TD04. About 10psi more than most. 12 more than I'm currently running. I can only imagine how wild my car car would be if I could smash that much boost in reliably!

Effectiveness depends on what you want.

Still within the bounds of a compressor map. Just not the ideal range for maximum efficiency of the pump...

Do you find with the vf34 once your off the line past the point the turbo kicks in its easy to stay within the turbos power even around corners ?

I'll put it this way.

When I bought my GC8, 2nd mod after putting an exhaust on was fitting a VF series turbo.

Remember, I'm dealing with 2L's. You will need a different turbo than a VF34 on a 2.5L.

Have a look at other people's builds and dyno sheets.
