I see recommendations for Pete @ Carline on Newcastle street all the time.

I've used him a few times too, and can't recommend him highly enough!

+1

I drove the full length of Newcastle street last Saturday and must have missed it so booked my car in to Autotainment in East Vic Park. I have known Brian Wallis there for decades and so am happy to support his business. Will let you know how it goes.

I must also give a big plug to Michael South at MSR for his very friendly advice on how to quieten my system. A top guy.

It is a bit hard to find and I ended up doing 2 passes before I could see the sign for 404.
The attached screenshot should hopefully help some users in the future.

I had an exhaust with fitment issues. Took it to Pete@Carline and he did a few modifications and got everything working splendid for a good price.

+1 Pete from Carline Mufflers on Newcastle Street, Northbridge.

A really honest and genuine guy, deserves the rep he's got in here and amongst other car clubs.

Got an extra small oval muffler on my Q300 exhaust today. They moved the resonator forward to make room. I went from a car that sounded louder than a worked rotary to now having a full 3 inch that is barely louder than stock.

Great work by Glen at Autotainment.

Now I need a fast drive to burn it in a little...

Just did some logging and may need some slight tweaks to the tune. I used to have a weird resonance around 3k which was a bit like the fuel stumble but was caused by the exhaust. It seems to have gone now so the adjustments to the map can possibly be unwound.
