Be wary of AAMI - there use of 2nd hand etc after 3 years of age is pretty common. I had some large arguments with them on repairs to my girl's Celica.

Personally I'm very happy with QBE - have accepted all mods with no issues.

Just went with SGIO as per Soksta above... last insurance company wouldn't cover any modifications.... basically I ended up paying 0.25 per week more to change.. but still not cheap.

Recently been quoted by Shannons, SGIO and a few other all coming out around $1500. i'm 28, no claims since i got my licence in 2001. no speeding fines/points etc etc. All with agreed values of $30k, with the car being kept in Scarborough (which is probably the problem).

Just been on the phone to QBE and they told me they can't insure the car as its a turbo!!! It's not like i'm 17 and just learnt to drive
