Thanks a lot guys, with the agreed value its just what SGIO gave it as when i got the "cover note" off them so just used it for consistency. And with that SGIO i have to go to $17,000 to get them to drop the premium to $2,600. (Just car is still cheaper, anyone had any claims with them before? Can i choose the repairer is the main one)

In your opinions would it be worth getting it put under Dads name with me as a named driver? even though i would loose my no claim bonus. Or just go for a stupidly high excess and drive it like I currently do (aka baby it on the streets)

Living in Woodvale shouldn't be doing me any harm?

Thanks again.

Can't comment on Just Car, but I've had a couple of claims with SGIO in the past, neither were my fault and I've been able to nominate and use a repairer of my choice.

When Craig and I spoke to RAC regarding insurance, the second we mentioned that our cars were modified we were given the sorry not interested spiel.

Yeh I was expecting them to say that after reading that You guys had issues. When I told the lady she put me on hold to go talk to someone and when she came back said everything was fine. I have been with RAC for 6yrs now which may have helped.

^^WTF. Is that RAC? They wouldn't insure my 2008 for any more than 30k. So much discrepancy with every fucking insurance company.

To he honest I think it's who you talk to on the day, some know how to pull strings and others have no idea at all.
