Will call stechnic once the motor is out. Gaskets will all be purchased by their recommendation. From our last conversation I think he said the genuine Subaru STI gaskets would be best.

Out of curiousity, any reason you're sticking with the PFC after going to this extent?

Because i already have it in my car. Why waste money on things i don't really need? Only going to do what is really necessary..

I realize it is one of the cheaper aftermarket ecu's available ( the reason i bought it in the first place )

Will I see a big difference but swapping out the ecu's?

Considered using the STI ECU and wiring? You can keep the 2.5 heads, and go a nice hard ECUTEK tune. Sell off the PFC for some money in return.

This!! All the engine bay wiring is there, you will just have to adapt the cluster to the vehicle
It may take a lot of time doing the wiring but it would be more than worth it at the end

The car was running a motec, and i bought it without to save money. Anybody know how much hp, or better it will run with the avcs.. Everybody that I have spoken has said that doing the hybrid thing would be the best solution on the pockets as the wiring is the proble,.

The money you will have to spend buying cams for the 2L heads and then setting them all up will probably cover the cost of the wiring...
