Horse powers and quick response doesn't always go hand in hand

I payed 18k for the wrx with an insurance premium of 150$ a month. I'm 21 years old.. May have missed out a few mods on the insurance quote and a verry high excesses fee ($2000+) Picked it up on carsales from a guy in manning as soon as I pick it up will put some pics up!
What turbo would you suggest teejay? Cause the vf22 with FMIC set up isn't verry responsive at all. I like mid range torque and quick spool not overly worried about top end hp I just want to "finish off the car" with as much reliable power possible without opening the block
VF34 as previously mentioned.

On my setup it makes 1 bar by 3k rpm.

I can't really see you getting your 450HP with a top mount...

You will need a big arse turbo and FMIC to get close to 450 hp. I would suggest changing fuel to E85 if you plan to do this. The response will still be an issue but the top end will be a winner.

Cars seems very nice, great 1st car
Just learn to handle it before thinking of more hp, do a few track days, skidpans, etc.

Is that your daily driver mate?

450whp daily, better hold a warning sign out the window to warn other cars around you every time you're thinking of taking a corner with a bit of throttle...

Sounds like a nice car, look forward to some photos when you pick it up.

I hope the missing mods on the insurance policy don't come back to bite you if/when you need to make a claim.

Nice constructive criticism...i take it you're one of those ppl that give others crap just to make themselves feel better?

Nice car OP, congrats! My 1st car was a 1987 white Suzuki swift GTi lol...awesome car but nothing like the beast u bought. Just be responsible most of the time when driving!
