Default New to tuning

Hey everyone

So as the title states, I'm new to tuning and wrx perth forums
It's so good to see such a thriving community of wrx owners (:
So I Just got my 1st car! Can you guess what it is? Lol
I fell in love with a 99 sti my brother let me drive round while he worked away and have wanted my own ever since! Unfortunately I couldn't get finance for anything after my02 so I had to settle for an my05 wrx that I'll be picking up tomorrow (: (no offence to any peanut eye lovers!) there great cars too I just wanted a gc8 but am still verry happy with my purchase!

Here is some of the work already diner to it:
New 207 short block
Reconed and shimmed heads
272 cosworth cams
Vipec ecu
Big FMIC
Vf22 turbo boosting 21psi
After market uel headers. (The guy doesn't know what brand they are)
Turbo back exhaust
King spring
And a few other little extras.
Dynod at 300awhp
All work done less than 20'000ks ago

The mods I'm going wanting to do are in the order as follows:

Adjustables
Upgraded clutch
Dcc sti gearbox
El headers port matched
Intake manifold port matched
Tmic
Turbo recondition or upgrade to a td06-20g

Im hoping to make 450+ hp atw.
Is the 207 capable of making this kind of power with stock internals? Also is this power goal realistic for this kind of setup?
If you have any recommendations of brands to use I would love your suggestions
Please if you have any comments and or suggestions feel free to leave a comment!

Issac

If I were you I'd learn to live with the 300hp first...... Do some track days to learn the car and decide if you need more power.

I have 310hp at the hubs in a ver 6 STI - it's plenty.

Add a VF34/p20 if you want to keep it punchy in the midrange and extend the high rpm power.

Nice choice, I just bought a my05 last Tuesday, it's a really good car. How much did you pay for it? and where did you get find it? I've been looking online for a few months so I probably saw it on there.
also...Post a pic!

This isn't my official 1st car. Just the 1st car worth telling people I own lol. I have owned a Hyundai sonata and glxi lancer which recently warped the head due to previous owner not changing fluids. So I decided it was time to get a loan out and join the big boys.
I payed 18k for the wrx with an insurance premium of 150$ a month. I'm 21 years old.. May have missed out a few mods on the insurance quote and a verry high excesses fee ($2000+) Picked it up on carsales from a guy in manning as soon as I pick it up will put some pics up!
What turbo would you suggest teejay? Cause the vf22 with FMIC set up isn't verry responsive at all. I like mid range torque and quick spool not overly worried about top end hp I just want to "finish off the car" with as much reliable power possible without opening the block
