Stop being so polite & afraid to offend anyone on this forum, we don't deserve your mercy.

Nice wrx, needs new wheels, those stockies have aids.
Yeah shit yeah man I don't know how this forum rolls but I am more comfortable with that. I'm still polite as it is my 'theory on life'. However man COMPLETELY AGREE...the rims are laaaammmmmeeeee......I like the look of them but 18's or 19's are preferred. Cash waiting as well, I'm not a dreamer...I'm 36 and retired and in the process of buying a mansion next to the beach so I am for real. Money landed my way...decade of working as a civil engineer and putting the money into property was a good idea (thanks mum)...then the inheritance and goodbye working for a living.

Don't like the STi because it doesn't handle like the WRX as a daily driver...if I was track racing I wouldn't buy an STi either! Really enjoy my WRX and I'm sure Dean will charge it up nicely 👍

Thanks for your contact guys, really appreciated 👍
Peace,
Josh

You would get the cob unit and then do the suport tune your self. The suport for this devise negates the need of any other local tune.

IMO you have the ability to make change on the fly. Look into it

Ahhhh you are referring to the Cobb Access Port 3 I think - seems to be a given in the States but Maximum said it wasn't worth it ...and honestly I saw no retailers or support here in WA. Don't give a rats about the cost ; I would much prefer the Cobb!!!!

I'll talk to Dean again tomorrow and put that down though as I know it is a 'Mod #1' when it comes to upgrades on SpewTube.

Appreciate the suggestion mate, especially from a guy who is a Subaru Technical man...

Cheers
Josh

Josh, there is full suport here in Perth for the Cobb unit.

I have seen for my self the Cobb unit in the same car as yours in Perth many times now.

Unfortunately you have spoken to some one that knows little about this technology as they are not an agent for the Cobb unit, a sale to Cobb will not line there pockets.

I am happy to explain this further via phone if you would like to send me your phone number. I can also prove you with the agents name and further more proved you with one of the best tuners in the USA for Subaru who also provides support for Cobb.

I'm 90% sure ASG now support COBB for MY15/16 vehicles. Wouldn't bother with a tune(r) from the US or an email tune. Tune on a local dyno or GTFO.

seagull I did ask and was given the same impression...a round about way of saying 'we don't like it'. However by no means was that 'screw you we aren't going there'!!

I am very Interested in it as I believe it is a major flaw between the US and Oz markets...every mod review I saw on spewtube said that the Ap3 was mod1. So why am I paying 1.5 for a one off dyno and tune...??? Happy to pay if that's what it is....but....
Peace
Josh
