Also, if you were to say cop a speeding fine from a pair of D's, and they were to drive off before giving you the paper work, what happens?
If they were to send the enforcement notice out in the mail 2months later (the $150+16.50) Would you contest it ?

There is no requirement to give you paperwork before you leave. You dont get an instant letter for a speed camera either.

Can you find legislation to back that up?
In one of this random blitz things today, asked the cop, and he said that there should of been a fine written at the scene and the drivers copy handed over to the driver, other wise there's no evidence, and can be contested. Cameras have a picture, and the info is written top and bottom of the image.

That would involve me making time to find it. I dont care enough. But I was in a car pulled over for doing 20 over the limit. Undercovers took details, fine was sent to friend a month later.
