We had all the chase shots we needed so the second last run I slowed a little on Crocker drive to recce my exit route for the following run. That next run we exited at turn 11 to set up a camera for the remaining cars. All planned well ahead, phoned the road closure to lift the bunting etc.
One of the road closures I spoke to said you come unstuck chasing Liddle in Malaga, obviously, he wasn't watching You were probably just parknig up with style!

Nice work Doug! You drove great at the perth stage. Still wondering why the rear left was so much lower than the right on your car though?

So if you can chase everyone down as the camera car, when will we see you enter it properly?

The paintwork / signage on the VH came up trumps. Well done guys.

Here's my video from Coondle West 2 where I rolled Betty White. A very soft roll which allowed for us to complete another 10 stages afterwards.
I'm still trying to work it out what happened as I was breaking in a straight line.

Maximum Motorsport did a fantastic job to get us going again after checking everything out. Overnight a new windscreen and some panel alignments made her straighter

^ Looks as though the rears locked, no ABS I assume ?

Would have done more damage putting it on it's wheels than the roll did.

Correct. No ABS.

Damage not too different than when it was put back on its wheels

Hey Chris,

Sad to see what happened but kudos for getting back on the horse and finishing up.

This is a copy of what Mark Greenham mentioned on another forum, might be worth looking in to?

Observed this car locking its left rear in a straight line - pulling up after the flying finish at Langley Park. I suspect too much rear brake bias.

The way it snapped away certainly has all the characteristics of a rear brake lock. If you're gonna roll it then that's as good as it gets - bloody unlucky & lucky at the same time. At least you were able to continue.
