Default turbo change any opinion?

HI guys once again i require some advice...I'm looking at upgrading the turbo on my 02 sti and would like some advice... i'm also looking at putting cosworth cams in as well so trying to find best turbo to suit application.

i'm looking at either VF 34, AVO 400 or 450, or the GTPS02 if there are any other suggestions i'm open to them too....

do you do track work? What kind of power levels are you after?

so far id suggest the avo400. the 450 would be just too laggy.

Hmmmm, I am in the same boat mate...I thought neg on the VF34, too close to the VF35 which is whats in them stock. My choice would be the GTPS02S (500rmp earlier spool). The AVO turbos I hear a really good, though pricey.

Would mind seeing a dyno for the GTPS02S and 2.0STi. Troy from PSR is looking into it I think.

Although I hear the VF34 P20 is a great combo for drags...I suppose it depends on what you want from the car.

I am not a fan of the AVO turbos they are overpriced, you might as well go for a HKS turbo the HKS GT2530Kai and GT2835 (GT2530Kai would be what your looking for on a 2.0) will be close to the AVO 400 & 450 range which can be bought for a few hundred more than the AVO units.
Look on www.nengun.com for good HKS turbo prices.

At the power levels your after cams won't be needed, but if you decide to buy them just get the Kelford cams from NZ they make the cams for Cosworth, you will save yourself a few hundred.

You would be pushing it to get 300hpATW with a VF34/P20.
I was gonna change over to a VF34/P20 but its just worth the gain coming from a VF35.

i was thinking at the flywheel. He didnt specify, so I made an assumption.

If your after 350hp at the wheels then the avo400 would then be my choice.
