Hmm, pushing more boost isn't a problem.

It's the internals that are the limiting factor at the moment.

Attacking engine with sledge hammer... Boost + 2.5 - Build ... Same same.

Its nothing come on , i mean 2bar + almost 100 shot on stock 2.0l that came out with a tad smile on her face thats 6-7 years yunger than the new 2006 STI with less than 10.000 on the clock means 30 psi on Td06 + Nitrous set up trying for 500 well thats me if IF i had the opertunity just to see the limits of the engine .

TD06 is only rated to 25psi - You'd need the Green to push 30psi.

Was that all through an EJ207?

As for the above, on a 257, erm, BOOM! Someone interstate tried this and it held up for the little time that they had it tuned to the 28psi or whatever it was. Doesn't seem practical to run that for a daily.

not on a 2.5 BOOM very quickly and im sure there would be fuelling issues also 800ccs min.... but u need the turbo to push that amount of air and not just blow hot air...

Would strengthening the bottom end have significant benefits without doing cams, heads, etc?

If thats the case then with 2.5 just get the bottom end and injectors happening.

yes u can run alot more boost and timing.. power will start to drop off at 6500rpm.. but u can still make a ton of power i.e 450-500hp atw with a GT35R... in that range..

So assuming the above, build list would be:

- Pistons
- Rods
- Rings
- ... ????

(Please don't say new crank, etc as well..)
