Was wondering how to pull these things out???
First remove the drive shaft, so undo the lower arm ball joint from the knuckle, then tap out the roll pin that goes through the inner cv/tripod joint. Then remove the drive shaft. It should just pull off and leave a little stumpy shaft behind. now just pick the seal out. Now i dont think that you are actully meant to remove the locating tab that you have unbolted. That is used to adjust the backlash for the front diff!!!!! So dont try and turn the adjuster!!!!

There are two seals. I will try to explain as best as I can. There is one where the half shaft meets the trans, and there is a large 0 ring that fits around the star shaped piece that the axle seal sits in. They can both be changed without removing the transmission. Drain the fluid. Unbolt the strut and pull the pin that holds the half shaft to the transmission. Pull the axle away from the tranny. Now you have to mark that star shaped thingee. Take a marker and mark the position that it is in. Get a hammer and a piece of wood or something and use it to unscrew the star shaped thingee by tapping on it. You need to take note of how many turns it takes before it unscrews completely. That is why you mark it. Once it is out you can change the two seals. There is a much better explanation of it somewhere around here. It is not hard at all to do. The most important thing is to remember to tighten up that star shaped thing exactly the same as it was before. Example: if it took 4.5 turns to get it off, it needs 4.5 turns to put it back on. Oh, the seals are directional. Passenger side is different than the drivers side.

Thats what engine search have provided me so ive done most of that and got the star THINGEE going around couple a times and unscrewed but its stuck at the end and wont turn anymore its got to a point where ive busted a couple of tooths ..

you wont get it off with the drive shaft still on there (the big green thing) so get that out of the way first. I didnt think that the driveshaft seal needed the adjustor (cant think of what it is called atm) removed
