I have an ej205 bottom end sitting around at the moment. I pulled it out and bought a 207 block. There's nothing wrong with my old 205, it has 157000k's on it. drop me a PM if you're interested. If no one takes it, i'm chucking a sheet of glass on it, and calling it a coffee table.

Got my EJ205 bottom end rebuilt at Hiflow in Balcatta. Cost $2200 for acid bath, machine the decks, bore and hone, supply ACL full race gasket set including steel head gaskets, fit new ACL forged piston and rings kit, new seals, gaskets and bearings and painted the whole thing to look like brand new. This was supplying them with the stripped short motor only (and it was a while ago so the price will have gone up since then)
