Modifying without research = Fail

Work towards a known combination that works, be it suspension, engine mods, driveline or brakes. Plenty of companies have put the hard yards into developing their products to work as part of a package, there's no point in trying to re-invent the wheel (unless you have an unimited budget!).
Modifying without research = Fail Yeah...well it was the sales guy from the front counter at RMS that sold me the Anti Lift Kit.

I didn't ask for it and at the time had not looked into it but trusted his opinion when I asked him if he can help me stop the front end lifting up under acceleration.

I'll still go back to them however because my belts are now slipping since I took the car in on Tuesday.

So I'm not 100% happy. ** Turns out belts did not slip! Was a suction noise from the air intake! RMS checked my car on the spot and bent over backwards to help me **

I have been told more than once by the workshops I have dealt with not to waste your money or there are better things to do first.

The ALK ( Bad name really ) I fitted was the Perrin one and they call it a Precision steering response kit. Certainly rate it as a very worthwhile mod.

Wouldn't think RMS has sold it just to empty his wallet. It is money well spent. If other previous mods are letting the car down that is not RMS's fault.

So?!

I was extremely happy with the service I got yesterday afternoon when I went down to see them.

Instant service, checked oil leak (said it came from the service and was just some reservoir? + They pressure tested the coolant system - Stunk of coolant 3 days after the service ) They checked my belts and generally stopped all work to check my car.

So full confidence is restored.
I even felt the need to buy some sway bars at the time due to the way they done everything they could to keep my service and have me leave happy.

Two Thumbs up for them.

You think I'm not going to post up something because a business reads a forum?
