Valet mode only goes for the first 9 or something times the car is started then reverts to normal pin number start. Just start it up, shut off, immobilize, start up, shut off etc until it comes back to normal.

no its gone past that wont even let me enter the code any more. plan B ring Brant see if they can help if not ill see if i get rid of it or just get the code we will see.

I've got my instruction manual for the brant somewhere, will look up how to get out of that mode. Sounds like its in manual arming mode

good news the people at subaru managed to talk me through fixing my big/small problem.

they reckon they get loads of calls each day, not sure if they fix all off them but mine is running.

My Rextc - thanks i have also printed out the pdf manual.

thanks guys for all your help hopefully people read this & keep it in mind when they leave their cars parked up.

So what was the story with the non selection of gears? Master cylinder, slave cylinder, rusted on, welded on......?

rusted on guys at RT looked @ for me now its driving nicely theres were i had the clutch work done etc so thought it was a good idea to take to them, next week service & tune so she will be running even better.
