as long as you dont go over board with the modding should be ok.

when i bought the car it had pod filter and catback, and had to return car within 6months as the vf35 shat itself and that was all covered under warranty, just before that i had a 3" tbe installed and they didnt question me about it.

Well, the time is nearing. I've got about $3500 saved up, its just a matter of what is the best way to spend it.
So far, it's Full TBE package, VERSO tune and a routine check up.
Others have mentioned that a intake upgrade doesnt have major benefits on the MY06 WRX.

Should I invest in 3 DEFI gauges and DEFI Gauge Pod to replace the central clock.
Pod 3xGauges seem to be quite pricey ~1000!
Would ASG fit them ?

dont think the defi's are worth it at this stage.

Defiantly get a cold air intake and maybe a bigger intercooler/sti one

and do the Verso Tune after that

$1000 + $4-500 for fitting (unless you do it yourself)

Would a bigger TMIC/STI type be worth installing with only new TBE and VERSO, plus a short ram intake, Perrin or K&M.

Gauges are priced almost as a luxury item, though for daily driving, cruises out of town and stabs on the freeway, are they needed? Or a boost gauge yes as a start, though in what situations would it be most useful?

Sorry, for the mixed questions, saves me from writing multiple threads.

Yuh this is true! I had my car with new zorst, coilovers, running r comps when Subaru Osb Pk test drove my car and diagnosed a stuffed diff under warranty and thats about as honest as you can get haha!

I can say a well breathing exhaust and Verso and you will get some nice numbers for the 2.5! Mine was pretty much up there with just the very minimal mods. Good luck!

ASG do everything like most workshops, just mention what u need installed so they can do it in the timeframe required i guess.. or u could have a stab at it yourself if you are a DIY-er ?

Defiantly will get some extra KW upgrading the intercooler do it before the tune to save you some money. Because your ECU will be squirting extra unused fuel straight through your engine.

Gauges are really just a luxury as you said, i think its a bit of a waste of money when your just running stock boost . There good to tell when you peak boost but most likely just normal driving you can tell for yourself. I reckon get a Boost Controller before a boost gauge anyways but its your money and your car.

I would also suggest a APS cai as it goes in the inner gaurd and less heat is in there. The APS cai is actually made of like ceramic stuff so it always is good for keeping things cool.

Just my 2cents
