Im going to inspect the car today and make a decision. If emptying the bay only for sandblasting then ill get out my chisel and scraper and get all the sikaflex out.. As its a big effort to drop all of that gear..

Sandblasting will work, we did a test with a less powerful one and it turned out great.

So everything is in the works now...

When stripping cars many moons ago this was a very effective way to get rid of sika and seam sealer prior to welding and paint prep but with the obvious dangers of fire works best on cars that have had the bits you want to keep removed.... with squirty bottle on standby.
