Depends on the LSD type. but a viscous R160 weighs 22kg. Plated and Suretrac Diffs are a bit heavier but not much much.

cheers ludwig, you're a champ, that diff i got off you is awesome too loving it mate, might change the oil as the stuff i put in there makes it a bit clunky, feels awsome cornering though

Glad you like it. Skids for the win.

If the clunking is only light, you can try putting in some friction modifier additive to the current oil you have in there.

I tried that on one of mine, $16 down the drain, made no difference.
Motul FF/LSD oil made it much better.
