Default Weird clutch problem

Ok, I have a strange problem, which iis very annoying.

at high rpm the clutch pedal becomes lower. you can actully feel it if you free rev the engine too. at idle the pedal is normal (firm and working properly)

as you bring the revs up the pedal starts to go down further if you put light pressure on the pedal. It feels almost as if the slave piston is being pushed back in at high rpm.

Very annoying as it causes you to have no pedal on high rpm changes. It has only happened since i changed the clutch. since i have done a slave, line and put a kit through the master. The clutch went together well, and operates perfectly otherwise. so

Are all aftermarket parts useless?

Im very close to buying a new genuine clutch pressure plate, and put it in to see how it goes.

but i thought i would check if anyone has had a similar problem before..

Thanks

Tom

Also, there is no shudder, or any other noises apart from the pedal vibarting at high rpm, without your foot on it.

Tom, I would guess that you've installed something incorrectly/back to front....etc??

Haha, i would like to think that, but i would say she wouldnt be driving now if that was the case. The clutch has been in since i did my gear set, there is really nothing that can go in the wrong way.

Have been playing with the adjustment a little so i will wait till i go for another drive.

ive had same problem with a toyota corolla and i believe the problem is bleeding the line,
mine did it above 5000 rpm, the other thought i had was that it was the extractors heating up the fluid.

try bleeding it first

sounds like it could be the master cylinder. brake fluid is pushing past the seal making the pedal sink to the floor. Its starting to happen on my girlfriends bugeye atm.

but why would it only be happening at higher rpm's?
i would have thort the vibrations of the bellhousing transferring into the slave cylinder might have caused a leak in the slave not the master if it was one of the cylinders.

na, maybe when the master cylinder was done, they sold him a dodge seal or incorrect fitment or what not, thus wen driving pedal will start to creep down or sometimes wen you put your foot on the clutch it will just stay flat to the floor but you still have drive.

very true, well TBH id try bleeding it first as its cheapest to do, if it doesnt work then replace the master and slave cylinder at same time.

it has been bleeded many times. i really feel it is a vibration issue. i have adjusted the push rod a little again, this time to no freeplay and the pedal doesnt sink at higher rpm bit still vibrates.

I have a mate who has had a aftermarket clutch and has the same vibrating pedal at high rpm.
