Looking forward to seeing it gating past my place in the Yokine ghetto

If I owned that car though, I'd:
- Fix the rubbish body kit
- Replace D2 coilovers
- Sort out that fuel system (PE injectors and aftermarket reg.. there are better ways to do it).
- TUNE!!
- Put aside $10k for engine freshen-up in 20,000km time.
- Start looking for some streetable brake pads for the Brembo 8 pots (you can get them made up with custom compounds btw using some original backings)
- Take me for a spin

When was that? The one in there looks genuine but it's hard to tell.

Yeah body kit is going, just have to sort out stock looking replacements and get them painted up and put on.
He told me the D2 coilovers were crap, what should I replace them with?
ASG will be tuning it next week and installing NOS so when they do I'll get them to let me know what needs to be done and what would be nice to have done.
As for taking you for a spin, no probs. I'd imagine the next few weeks are going to consist largely upon taking people for a drive in it lol

Hey budgie dude...

Can you start a driveway thread, with the cars current state of affairs? It sounds like a bloody good read, and a good purchase. And current pics please!

I did see this car on the road on a couple of cruises... just interested to see how it ended up now you are the owner.

Brent.

For a car like that go GOOD coilovers! Ohlins or something.

Kind of liked the no wing look on it though..

Car has the potential to be quite the monster, some common sense and forethought and it'll be tip top.

good to see it in what appears to be capable hands

I was advised against PE's when getting my injectors by the same workshop who built Wai's car, so thats the advice I'm going off (even though I got Sard's at the time which caused problems regardless, so big FAIL for me until I got chop tops).

The problem comes to the fact that they are inconsistent.. some of the injectors are okay, and others arent. These ones might be okay.

If I was owning the car, I'd change them.. but I don't own the car, so its just an opinion.

injector dynamics out of the states, that's all the injector you will ever need.
