Searched but struggling to find the answers. Wondering what, if any, later model TMIC will fit on my 94 WRX. Any info or links to discussions would be well appreciated.

As I understand it, the manifold and throttle body are further rearward (and angled) on the 94 than the later GC8s.

I guess that means that if a later intercooler does actually fit between the firewall and the throttle, then it will require:

1. custom mounts
2. later model scoop (just the bit under the bonnet, right?)
3. custom/aftermarket piping from turbo
4. custom/aftermarket piping from BPV to intake boot (easy)

You may be able to fit a 99-00 WRX or STI cooler in there...I have some you can trial fit.

I also have a GD wrx stock cooler but I think it will be to deep and foul the firewall.

ARC cooler.

Newer top mounts wont fit without a LOT of fab work. Can not fit later manifold either as ports are in different spots afaik.

Early model ACR or front mount for a more simple job.
