Good to see you finally listened instead of buying all the crap the internet mechanics had almost convinced you to buy
Cheap fix.
Still worth hitting the AFM with some contact cleaner though.

I've got the same issue right now too. Will try cleaning the AFM as I already gave the pod filter the arse.

That doesn't sound good. I've only had the hesitation which is pretty consistent with anything more than half throttle. Also stumbles at times at lower revs, say under 2000 going around a tight corner.

Getting pretty annoying but haven't had the time to get it sussed.

If you've been cleaning the air filter, check all the hose connections especially one small hose coming from the ( purge fuel tank ) that is connected to the air flow . This could be disconnected.

It's quite easy to miss when you put back the air filter.

Hey Vic, you were right, the purge fuel tank hose was disconnected. Once I plugged that one back in the idle was much better, unfortunately the hesitation at 3500 with the foot down was still there and also the stumbles at lower revs ~1500.

I bought some MAF cleaner and gave that a shot but didn't do much so maybe the MAF is too far gone. Will probably have to bite the bullet and just get another one... *sigh*. Where's the cheapest place?
