Pretty sure my father in law uses FluidMasters for his truck.

I think they do automotive as well. Not 100% sure if it's done on site, or if they send it off to a 3rd party.

These guys used to do it for $27 a shot.
http://www.oiltest.com.au/thebox.htm

You contact them. They send out a test container, fill it, send it back with payment. Then they send you results via e-mail.
Good reliable info too.

A friend of mine diagnosed a failing engine using this.

I use Roktex - Check Your Engine With an Oil Test as they send out a free sample kit and payment is only required once the lab tests have been performed. The kit allows you to take the sample through the dipstick so real easy and postage is prepaid so no additional expenses.

Labs are NATA certified and I have found the maintenance recommendations to be practical.

$27 is great but does it include postage back to the lab. I couldn't find any reference on the www.oiltest.com site but notice that the postage is still being marked up as prepaid on Order Roktex Oil Test Kit

I guess it may also depend on which elements are actually being tested for in each lab and when it comes down to it the quality of the maintenance recommendations is probably more important.

If anyone is interested I can put up the report I got.
