Looking to speak to anyone who has successfully installed a GD dash into a GC8.
Mainly just trying to suss out how they bolted the dash to the firewall and if they used the factory holes for the center console/gear stick area as this doesn't seem to match up in height to the dash + hvac/radio area. Any info much appreciated. Cheers!

Hmm, thought there was another thread.
Interested in how the dash actually fitted to the firewall, as every write up I read has it 'in' but they never explain how they bolted it on since the GD mounts do not match the GC mounts.

Yeah, I'm not installing the GD airbox, so not an issue (well one that I have already overcome
 )I'm doing a hybrid swap with a lot of the GC8 parts. I just can't find where people have bolted the dash to the firewall. I just want to know if there is a 'trick' before I make some brackets to suit up. Seems like a lot don't bolt it on (or do a firewall swap)...
