Default Which Flywheel??

All,

After speaking to Rossco I might go for a lightened flywheel, also the Aussie dollar is still strong, I've narrowed it down to these 2.

Would appreciate any advice on pro's/con's of either.

cheers

I bought the first one by Exedy for my car. 6Kg. Feels good. Nice crisp throttle response without being so light it makes it a pig for daily driving.

Never heard of the "F1 Racing" one, but Exedy is excellent.

These guys might be a better alternative then the CA seller you've posted.

Gave me an excellent deal on my supertuff and I'd assume half the shipping time and cost 'if not more'.

The first one pictured is a 5 speed flywheel, the second pic is a 6 speed.
Check the description matches the picture before buying.
Some have a lightening hole where the clutch dowells need to go, that's no good.

Doug,
What would you recommend for a good lightweight 6 speed flywheel?

Something no lighter than 6 kg. Jim Berry reckons the stock one is as good as any.
A Lightened flywheel will often make weird noises come out of an otherwise good gearbox.

I think the first pic says thats that it is for illustration purposes only and may differ. The description clearly states that it is for the 6 speed!

Yeah, after fitting my Fidanza flywheel, my old 5 speed sounded like it had stuffed bearings on decel, when it obviously didn't have anything wrong with it!

Even the 6 speed makes a tiny bit of noise with the Fidanza (not as much as the 5 speed though!).
