Default oil sandwich plate needed for ej25?

hi all, tried looking on search but no luck,

is an oil sandwich plate the best way to go on an ej25 for oil pressure/temp sensor install?
ive done them on ej20s and was happy with the result but not sure if there are easier spots on the ej25 for oil pressure plus temp.

cheers!

Sandwich plates are a fire hazard - Avoid where possible!!

oil pressure sender placement

(Replace the stock oil pressure switch with the gauge sender)

Oil Temp - Fitted to the oil gallery in the rear of the block (near the crank case breather outlet)

I agree with Rossco on this one, eighty percent of sandwich plates I 've seen on cars have been literally p***ing oil everywhere. Whether through poor installation or seal failure, its right near the exhaust manifold also.

I've got a Process West sandwich plate sitting in my shed doing nothing, I'm sure I can do a reasonable price for you.

Where abouts is this located on a GD, underneath the alternator? Also is the thread size 1/8" ?? Cheers
