Default RAC 100k service

Hey guys

Any horror stories with RAC major timing belt service?

Any reason why I should take to a performance workshop over RAC? Just TBE and tune. Not planning any big mods in the near future.

Btw an my03 wrx

Why the hell would you want to take it to RAC?

Hmmm, generic servicing by people who normally service commodores and falcons vs servicing by a Subaru specialist who deals with Subaru's all day every day (and probably is cheaper).

I know where I'd go...

Check the workshops thread & give some of the places a call.

We have listed ones people use.

Notice that rac isnt on the list. Just saying.

If you love your car - you will take it to somebody who loves it too..

RAC Are good if you get stuck on the road in whoop whoop. Why take your Subaru to a non-specialist.

I'm pretty sure RAC are very expensive, even as much as a dealership. I'd go to a specialist, which includes dealerships.
