Do you have a wideband hooked up?

Are you using a datalogit & a laptop?

What do your logs show when it's mis-firing?

I tried taking some but didn't see anything stand out - what's the best way to grab logs? Can I get them through fc-edit? I was grabbing logs originally through copilot. Anything I should make sure is checked?

Thanks
Rich

Hi Ross,

Ive just gone for a run and grabbed a fc-edit log and attached it to this post. When taking the logs i was on a flat road and tried to keep the speed etc as constant as possible to get good readings. I turned the aircon on just after starting the logging but i think it may have even bucked once before turning on the aircon but im not %100 sure. If you could have a quick look and see if anything stands out that would be awesome.

thanks heaps
Rich

It's going to cause low load drivability issues, try dropping the low load areas to 45 degrees and see how it responds.

All the load areas where you are having issues are over 50 degrees....... I doubt you could make it ping at those loads even if you wanted too...... It will be hunting all over the show at those timings.

Hi Ross,

I thought the tuning might be the issue on sunday and cancelled that out by performing a factory reset and just running through the 30 min setup phase but the symptoms didnt change. Heres the default ignition map after the reset. Maybe i should try dropping it back even further?

Thanks
Rich

Hi guys,

Ive been digging a bit more and done some testing with the car in neutral and the issue still shows itself which i guess it makes it easier to troubleshoot. I ran a few tests holding the car at about 2000rpm, starting the logging, turning the aircon on so the issue starts happenning, then turning the aircon off and stopping the logging. One picture is a graph from CoPilot and the other is the logs from FC-Edit. Ive noticed one thing, the setting O2-1 goes from a steady 0.6-0.7 when the cars running fine, and drops to 0 when the cars spluttering, then once i turn the aircon off, it returns to 0.7. Im guessing the O2-1 is the stock O2 sensor feedback but im not %100 as i cant find anything on it when i google it. I tried enabling O2 Feedback incase the aircon being turned on is trying to force open loop but it didnt have any effect... any ideas?

Thanks
Rich
