Hey I'm looking at getting some rota grids on 06 sti with stock suspension. Right now got the stock 17" wheels on. I wanna go up to 18s. Online looking at 18x 8.5 with +44 offset or +30 but just tryna work out will they clear brembos and will the +30 stick out of my guards or what's the go? Cheers in advance

18x.8.5 +43 is just perfect on GD's imho. Fits nice and flush, clears Brembos, no issue from the police with rims sticking way out of guards. That would be my recommendation.

Put some decent 235-245/40/18 rubber on them and done!

Have 18x8.5 +44 rotas on my 06 sti. Fit fine with 235 street tyrs but had to get some more camber when i chucked on some 235 r-comps as the rears where rubbing on the inside lip of the rear guard.

Thanks. So +44 is the better option for no unwanted attention and not to much messing around with?

question

i've got some 245/40/17 Yoko AD08R's and i'm about to purchase some work emotion CR Kai 17x8 +42 rims for them. I know they will physically fit, but does anyone run this exact set up and have any issues on the track ? are they going to be too pinched? or am i all good?

i'll be running fully adjustable coilovers

thanks

245 seems a bit too wide for an 8" wheel IMO. I run a 245 on a 8.5 and that's a flush fitment - no stretch.

Yep .. a 245 on a 8.5 is wide as you'd want to go.

245x8.5 -->
