Hey I'm looking at getting some rota grids on 06 sti with stock suspension. Right now got the stock 17" wheels on. I wanna go up to 18s. Online looking at 18x 8.5 with +44 offset or +30 but just tryna work out will they clear brembos and will the +30 stick out of my guards or what's the go? Cheers in advance

Have 18x8.5 +44 rotas on my 06 sti. Fit fine with 235 street tyrs but had to get some more camber when i chucked on some 235 r-comps as the rears where rubbing on the inside lip of the rear guard.

Thanks. So +44 is the better option for no unwanted attention and not to much messing around with?

question
i've got some 245/40/17 Yoko AD08R's and i'm about to purchase some work emotion CR Kai 17x8 +42 rims for them. I know they will physically fit, but does anyone run this exact set up and have any issues on the track ? are they going to be too pinched? or am i all good? i'll be running fully adjustable coilovers thanks Last edited by dnbosiris; 20-06-2015 at 05:38 PM. |

245 seems a bit too wide for an 8" wheel IMO. I run a 245 on a 8.5 and that's a flush fitment - no stretch.

Yep .. a 245 on a 8.5 is wide as you'd want to go.
245x8.5 -->
