So.... its finally finished, after getting messed around by Cosworth for almost 2 months with the cams. I have to thank Daniel from CarModsAus for sorting me some Kelford cams after Cossie didn't come through with the goods.

This is the Autronic IAT sensor installed, a definite nessecity when using speed/density so the ECU can accurately calculate air density, its also used for compensations and several failsafes.

I wired the IAT sensor into the existing AFM harness. This allows me to switch it back to the AFM air temp sensor if I want to use the factory ECM later.
Its simple to reconfigure the input in the Link for the Autronic sensor so it uses the data correctly.
I used Deutche connectors which are among the best around. They're specified by Caterpillar for their mining equipment. Also used by WRC teams so I've been told.
Connectors cost $10 a set, the tool for crimping the terminals cost $500! Lucky I was able to borrow one.

Engine bay shot. Finally..
So build list reads:
207 short engine,
Kelford 272 cams , 10.5mm lift,
Ported heads,
TGV's deleted,
Cosworth intake,
Perrin silicon turbo inlet,
550 blue injectors,
J-style EL headers,
Kinugawa TD06/20g,
3in turbo back,
STI intercooler,
Link G4 with AEM wideband wired in for logging/tuning.
The Link is awesome, comparing it to the PossumLink is like another planet.
Cold starts are factory like, I've got it to idle nicely even with the cams,
cruise AFR's are sorted.
I would say its almost as good as the factory ECM apart from knock control. Really, its that good, I would recommend it.
A nice easy run in (600k's to go) and it will be all go!
I'm hoping for for over 300hp, watch this space.

Nice work John. If you have 550cc injectors, be ready to swap them if you plan on getting up to 300hp. My STI pinks were maxed out as in 100% duty cycle at 302hp ATH. This was at around 11.2 AFR

I'll have to wait till run in is complete to see what happens with the injectors, I was under the impression that they would be good for 350hp. Depends on what mods are done too I guess.
Just an FYI for any one reading, the blue injectors in the later 2.5 WRX and STI are the same flow rates as the older STI pinks. Something to consider if you are going to upgrade your 2.0 injectors.

Cool build, Im keen to see what figures it gets, decent sized turbo in it and cams I think low 300's for sure which is an excellent result with a TMIC.

If/when you go for FMIC or V mount then it will really come alive.
