Ok, so I'm booked in with AllStar for the service next month.

They don't seem too fussed with the level , but I'm keen to drain some oil and see if it makes the startup smoke go away before then. Anyone got any ideas how much I should drain going by the picture below?

I only want to undo the sump plug once, as I'm guessing it'll be a pretty messy exercise trying to get the plug back in after 1/2 a litre or so has escaped! Are there any other ways to get a small amount of oil out?

Also, in case it happens again, I've ordered a Grimmspeed A/O Separator...because Race Car! megalolz

Removed around 300-400ml of oil! Only started it a couple of times since, but I guess it'll take a while for any oil in the IC to work its way out? Looks like an upper engine clean is in order. Going to AllStar in a few weeks...
