Bit of a hijack, but not worth making a new thread for.

Does anyone know the total width of the STi splitter + lip combo? I'm guessing around 7-10cm? Currently the lowest part of my bumper sits at 180mm above the road (4x4 spec) and I want to make sure that the lip/splitter combo will not require any height adjustments prior to fitment.

well the reason im thinking pedders is because they did a good job installing my whiteline swaybars/ALK and dont mind me coming back for questions/free checkup on the bars so i figured why not go back. $2000 (installed) for fully adjustable coilovers sounded pretty good for me, especially because quality of the product seems to be excellent. BUT i dont know alot about coilovers so thats why i came to you guys!

Sounds like HSD HR's are the way to go however. Quick search looks promising... $1349 is good value. i wonder how much they will cost to get installed at maximum motorsport for example?

Cheers for all the responses to guys given me a good idea of what to expect!!

From what i've read Pedders coilovers are just rebranded BC's (correct me if im wrong). I have BC BR series in my car and for the price there awesome, paid $1300 to have them shipped to my door from 'justjap', fitted them myself ( which was a piece of piss ) and just took it in for a wheel alignment. Definately something to consider

The words horses for courses apply here...you want an installer who can set up the coilovers to height requested and do a good wheel alignment to take advantage of them. Getting this right will determine how long your tyres last and how you back feels to a greater or lesser degree. I recommend Wheels World in Carbon Ct Osborne Park or Stechnic in Maddington. Check out the vendors section here for suppliers of coilovers.

+1 for having someone decent do the install. Wasnt a huge fan of my STD's when they were initially fitted and aligned, then STechnic had a tweak and the difference was astonishing. No more hard jolts over bumps and the car didn't skip around so much on a bumpy road surface.
