Smile adjustable ride height - whats best for around town?

Hi guys, im going to get coilovers for my 2011 (pedders extreme XA), just wondering what a good ride height is for driving around town. I want to lower the car but i dont want to struggle over speed bumps/high angled driveways etc as this is an everyday driver. I was thinking 1/2 inch to an inch lower, but i have no idea on what would suit my conditions.

So, any advice fellas? Or anyone have a setup/height that works for them on a 2011?

Cheers

My advice would be think twice about buying pedders.
My question is what do know about spring ratings ?

Why coils? Why Pedders? Springs would be easier if all you want is a mild drop.

I'd personally do some research and go for some whiteline springs for a drop like that.

Most springs will do a 1" or 2" drop.

I personally think 1" is perfect for keeping the suspension geometry and not having to crab crawl over every speed bump.

70mm from the ground is ideal

I had my front lip 90mm off the ground when i first got my coils. Shat me to tears.

@ about 110mm now...much better.

Used to scrape on everything, burnt through wheel liners under compression....turd.

Could always try some lowering springs that have firmer rates than oem, Race Comp Engineering/Einbach/H&R come to mind.

Edit: just saw the adjustable part in the title, ignore me

I have sti pinks, and they are just over an inch lower then Std. (my05 sti)
Plus front lip - which sits about 70-80mm of ground.
Central muffler sits about the same distance of the ground, (3' tbe)
and cannon hits the kerb when I pull out of a driveway. (jfk titanium)
Front lip scraps over anything biggish I cant approach at like 15-35 degrees.
Wheel Liners are history, and front bar is pretty rooted.
Front bar comes of completely if car needs to go on a truck, etc
Or I just Cringe.

Mud flaps Also Scrap.
and skirts scrap if its an angled/halfsized bump.

Picture is old but its same height.

100+mm if you want to avoid scraping. I'm still too young an naive for that. if its not scraping, its got to be 4"+ too big with Muddies
