Hi guys ive noticed a clanging noise like a piece of metal hitting another piece of metal when shifting from 1st then into 2nd then into 3rd never happens in 3rd going into 4th. The noise also seems to be there when i let off the accelerator but only sometimes. Anyone ever heard this and know what the problem is?

Anyone know how to fix the heat shield so it doesnt make this noise? And is it a common problem?

Fairly common, needs a bit of welding.

If it's the up pipe shields just twist it a little (when cold obviously).
