4 days after he took it away with the tune and power fc it died. After it died, he had it towed to ASG, they reinstalled the stock ECU and he took it away with CEL is what he meant i think. He then chopped wires, installed a t-piece with a green apple in the wrong spot and started a thread on P-WRX

What about the comment made by ASG (As below) that EvoR changes the boost levels to show a different tune!!

3 - Looking at your 177hp curve I would guess that it has been run up with the boost turned down to give a low power/torque figure. This [form of tuning] is typical of evolution R but [pointing to us is] not very smart as obviously we have records of the last run done on our dyno. The curve is unusually smooth for a car tuned with a faulty AFM. If we tuned it with a faulty AFM it would be so rich or lean it wouldn't rev with new AFM. It would be interesting to see the boost/AFR power curve of the "177hp" run.

In my opinion both the derogatory comments should cancel each other out, everyone should kiss and make up, and lock this thread

I'm still lost on whether it was driven or towed to Evo R

this thread has become gay as aids

all i know is that my GC8 has a power fc and MAC solenoid both installed and tune by ASG. been like this for over a year now with no issues

there is no restrictor pill in the lines at all

will continue to take my car to ASG for tuning regardless of the shit in this thread

something clearly doesnt add up between the 3 of you guys and honestly gives both workhops a bad name because i dont believe either workshop would perform dodgy work a described

You really need to get your own facts right... You're just contradicting yourself

Fuck an engineering degree, I'm going to get my sister to analyze this... She's got a forensics degree
Picked it up from asg after the initial tune. Lasted 4 days. Removed the immobilizer myself. Went on holidays. Came back got it towed into asg. Drove it home from asg with stock ecu and cel light on. Posted up this thread. Took it into evo R the next day.

Ahh so the 177hp run was on the stock ecu that ASG didnt tune? Or did they put the PFC back in and it ran up at 177hp?
